An ASCP Before and After

I thought since I discussed Annie Sloan Chalk Paint (ASCP) in my last post it would only be fitting to show a few before and after pictures.  I knew I wanted to showcase these pieces first because they belong to one of my sweet friends.  She has listened to me ramble {on at least a weekly basis} about painting furniture and starting this blog for months now. She believed in me so much that she hired me to reinvent {couldn't resist the cheesiness} these pieces she bought at an estate sale.  This gave me just the push I needed to {finally} launch the blog.  Don't you just love friends like her who lift you up when you feel unsure of yourself?  I'm a lucky girl to be surrounded by a few women like that!  Sorry for the poor quality of some of the pictures. {this is me apologizing for clearly not realizing these would end up on my blog.}  Enjoy!

  3. Wow, makes me want to go find some old furniture and try this paint. I've done latex paint on laminate furniture ... Not fun!

  4. Thanks for the comments ladies! While there are 28 color choices, Old White is my classic go-to. I'm starting a chest of drawers today in Aubusson Blue with clear and dark wax. Hope to have it posted later in the week so check back or subscribe to e-mails.
